As people,working, or going to school you have many option how to obtain any type of snack almost everywhere (in automate, fast food, local market shop etc). Most of these snacks contain sugars, fats and conservants, which are absolutely useless for your body and have destructive effects on your muscles or lifestyle. That´s a reason, why we will try to give you some examples of better snacks, which you prepare alone home and you can eat it without reproaches. This type of snacks fills your stomach, give you energy without regrets, improve your concentration and prepare you to your workout.

Some tips of Nutrient-rich snacks

1. Almonds and dates

Easy for storage, you can take it everywhere with yourself, give you a lot of energy and good nutrients, from almonds you replenish proteins into muscles, combination of almonds and dates taste good and fill the stomach fast, so you don´t need sweets or any type of junk snack

Disadvantages

Contain a good nutrient values, but especially dried dates are very caloric in larger number, so try to combine 4 dates with 16-18 almonds

2. Canned tuna or salmon

Easy for storage, you can take it everywhere with yourself, give you a lot of energy and good nutrients, salmon or tuna contain very important omega 3 fatty acids, have a lot proteins and less number of fats

Disadvantages

Taste is not very good, so you will need something, what improves taste (vegetables, spices, some kind of sauce etc.) and canned fishes are not good for everyday consumption because of large number of mercury that they are containing

3. Figs and dark chocolate

Quality dark chocolate with more like 70% of cocoa is a little bit expensive and taste is not good for everyone, it is better like any junk food, but without any activity is  not the best option

4. Greek yogurt with fruits (especially berries)

It is harder to store, it needs bigger care during transfers, some kind of fruits is not always available at your disposal, thus it is hard to keep it fresh during travelling

5. Smoothie

You can´t prepare it everywhere, so you will need to spend a few minutes at home for preparation, you can easily overrun with fruit, what means many useless carbohydrates, if you are not active during a day

6. Oatmeal with cinnamon, honey, protein powder or nuts

Eat it alone is a challenge, needs some kind of preparation – to be put into water or cooked, not very good for diet in larger amount

7. Cottage cheese with fruit or vegetables
